Spaceway was kept busy over the summer while the kids were on holiday, by building another brand new mezzanine floor for Lydiard Park Academy in Swindon, Wiltshire. The project was designed to provide extra space for a new Sixth Form college.

The new technology centre was constructed on the first floor, with modern bench system desks and Cat6 computer cabling and small power set into the mezzanine surface for quick and easy access.

The ground floor was fitted out as a smart and modern canteen, rest and study area for the pupils to relax in between lessons. The project was constructed to budget and in record time ready for the start of term in September 2014. The following products were used:
Mezzanine floor
Glass balustrades
Glass partitioning
Glass walls
Suspended ceilings
LED lighting and electrics
Computer cabling and Cat6 data outlets
Office furniture and seating

The building regulations application, from initial consultations through to final inspection and certification, was project managed by Spaceway for Lydiard Park Academy.
